Where do I start? from the day that my instinct to grip anything activated, so did my desire to hold a pencil, to want to scrawl anything out, to make something out of nothing. From the age of six I have played video games, being the youngest out of three siblings, was always tough for me, feeling left out of this best friend/brother bond that can only truly be achieved by two people, don't misunderstand that though, they always try to involve me, they were always treating me, making me feel special and like I can achieve anything, I would never ask for anything different.

Through all the time I had no one to play with, I played games and drew from them, my mom bought me toys, like every other kid in the world, but they never interested me, I just wanted to return to the fantastical digital worlds that could never scientifically exist on our planet. I would play every hour of the day I possibly could, the majority of my favorite memories are from games and or experiences related. For example sitting with both my brothers watching E3 and console announcements, playing World of Warcraft together and The Matrix Online with me, my brothers and my dad, all so heartwarming and nostalgic, another very important memory of mine was playing Counterstrike with my brother Simon. The amount of hours spent in my life playing games is probably a good quarter or maybe even more.

I literally can not put to words how much they mean to me as an inspiration, Half Life, Elder Scrolls, Counterstrike, World of Warcraft, Matrix Online, The Specialists, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Drakes Uncharted. Must I not forget Halo, I own every single comic, book and media for it, Guild Wars, Natural Selection and ofcourse Serious Sam! I have to stop, I could go on forever. Okay two more, Splinter cell and Fable. Mass Effect. I can not contain my excitement when I think about the games that have inspired me to draw and want to become a concept artist.

I want to make someone else feel the way games have made me feel. But its not just games, its TV and films too, I used to watch a film every single night with my family, I would rush downstairs from my games with my quilt and pillows throw it on the sofa or on the floor and make a massive pillow bed and all 5 members of my family including me would watch a new film. Me wrapped up on the floor covered in sweets immersed in a film, as if I'm the main character, I love those memories so much. When I did play outside ( which was extremely rare ) I would be making guns and swords out of silver foil rolls and tissue roll card, and playing soldiers with my brothers or brother. Everything I ever did throughout growing up would be creative in some way, I loved to create, it has never changed. I love things that aren't real. I love Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Tron, 28 days later, The Walking Dead, Star Wars! Star Trek, Marvel Movies, Planet of the Apes, you name it, any fantastical film even in the slightest, really makes my creative juices flow, they are my inspiration.

I have been practicing digital art since I was 12, it unlocked this new world of art to me, made me realize the future of art, or at least the future of my art, there's something so beautiful about it, its a step closer to my dream. My main inspirations would have to be Feng Zhu and Sparth. Traditionally it would have to be Leonardo Da Vinci and John Constable. My life is Art and Gaming, its hard to explain to people what I do, especially traditional artists, I feel like no one gets me, but then I look back to the gaming community and the support I need is there, Gaming is growing rapidly and the population of gamers. There is so much I can say about myself, but if I had to cut it into one sentence it would have to be. If I was born for anything Digital Art is it.
